ABOUT US
| It all started when Africans living in Hong Kong, from various countries like Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria and many others nations, thought of the idea to come together as one family from the same continent.In December 2009, some Hong Kong government officials supported our ideas for a unified African community. In collaboration with such officials we had our first offica meeting inside the Hong Kong Kowloon mosque conference room. Since then a series of meetings have been held at “Tsim Sha Tsui” mariners garden to deliberate about the welfare of people from Africa. Our aims are:
1.) To strive to educate our brothers and sisters about the need to respect chinese culture, to learn the local values of Hong Kong and to follow this city’s laws and regulations. 2.) To help the people of Hong Kong better understand African culture, its customs and its diverse peoples. |
